Watcher units come with two interface options: USB or Ethernet. The model below attaches simply to a Bird Model 43 wattmeter. All models will work with the coupler only.
USB Watcher
The units are microprocessor controlled and are designed to mount directly on the Model 43 meter terminals. Installation is as shown and is fully reversible.
The USB or Ethernet connectors are accessible via the side element holes.
Watchers may be used independent of the Model 43 and attached only to a sensor line module.
A side mounted slide switch (also accessible via the side element holes) returns the unit to its original electrical configuration for portable operation as originally designed.
Additional features include 4 auxiliary remote controlled outputs (optically isolated), peak reading capabilities, and element "stretching".

The operating software displays both a linearized analog style meter as well as the digital power reading on the same screen.
Convenient pull-down menus control the auxiliary isolated pin outputs which can be used to key individual transmitters, etc.
More than one unit may be accessed simultaneously, allowing for multiple monitoring or simultaneous forward and reverse power monitoring. There is no need for the program to be the "active" Windows program. It will continue to display and update even if another program is being used.
